Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Client | 2400 V Power Distribution Upgrade

Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Client | 2400 V Power Distribution Upgrade

A large steel manufacturer in the United States had critical power pathways that relied on switchgear installed more than 80 years ago. Patrick designed a new switchgear lineup to replace and enhance the existing gear. Patrick performed the feasibility study, detailed design (including civil, foundation, structural and electrical design), vendor drawings review, power system studies, design and programming of the protection and control scheme, witness testing, and commissioning services to replace the existing vintage medium voltage switchgear with a modular Power Distribution Center (PDC) and three (3) two-winding step-down transformers.
