Deep River Rock Riffle Improvements

Deep River Rock Riffle Improvements

The Deep River Rock Riffle Improvements focused on the construction of a rock riffle dam that promotes the public's use of Deep River and makes it a destination site in Northwest Indiana. Patrick's scope of services included evaluation of geotechnical conditions for levee design, environmental investigations and permitting, stormwater sewer and watershed studies, pedestrian bridge design including pile design, parking lot and pathway design, and rock riffle design. The project is located within the floodway of Deep River and extensive permitting and government approvals were required for construction.
