Dry Bulk Handling Company | Rail Storage
Patrick was selected to build the expansion of an existing transload facility located in the Midwest. The scope of the work included 2,400 feet of new railroad track, a 6,450 square yard asphalt staging area, and various drainage improvements. A total of 10,000 cubic yards of soil was excavated, graded, compacted, and tested. Patrick was initially selected in a construction-only capacity to complete this project. As the project progressed, Patrick was able to lend its design expertise to several components of the project, in effect turning this into a design-build project. Design services provided by Patrick included survey, geotechnical, rail, and civil drainage design. Patrick's construction services included construction management and contracting, material procurement, scheduling, cost estimating, and safety management.
