our expertise

Patrick works with our clients to develop and implement alternative and renewable energy projects. Projects range from the siting and program management of wind farms to design of solar farms, to design of micro-grids and battery systems to provide efficient and reliable power. Patrick’s team of civil, structural, and electrical engineers and dedicated project managers and control specialists work collaboratively with clients to integrate systems that deliver results. Our advantage is understanding the risks involved including permitting, supply-chain, schedule, financial and constructability when developing renewables from concept to operation. Our services include fuel delivery design, substation design, structural design, and design and permitting of temporary and permanent site improvements. Our clients include renewable developers, investor-owned utilities, and private companies. With a focus on safety, quality and lifecycle costs, and a history of on-schedule and on-budget performance, Patrick is proud to be a premier provider of renewable energy and sustainability solutions.

Waste Management (WM) | Landfill Development Consulting Services

Waste Management (WM) | Landfill Development Consulting Services

Patrick conducted an assessment of closed and open Waste Management (WM) landfill sites that would be eligible for solar renewable energy credits (SRECs) and the potential for solar developers to consider lease arrangements with WM. To perform this assessment, Patrick reviewed the available information on SRECs and similar incentives for the development of solar farms in various states. Information was gathered from internet-based research tools, as well as discussions with various solar developers. As a result of this review, several states were identified to have significant incentives for solar developers that could meet WM's financial requirements. Patrick then performed a brief analysis of the commercial suitability of the various landfills for solar PV development.
