Building Products Manufacturer | Rail Expansion
Patrick designed two rail tracks from the CSX mainline to the manufacturing facility. The project included the construction of two storage tracks, grading design (including an additional 135,000 cubic yards of rail embankment), design of a storm sewer, three on-site stormwater detention ponds, associated outfall structures, and sediment and erosion control measures. Patrick performed calculations, prepared design and construction documents, and obtained necessary permits. Patrick also designed new truck access to an existing rail dumper building that included new access roadway, rail crossing, and improvements to the building floor to allow truck access to the building hopper and conveyor system.
